Notice on garbage collection and bringing in the rubbish to North Clean center

Due to the deterioration, North Clean center is going through the major renovation work until March 2027.

①Change of combustible garbage collection timetable

Due to the renovation work, there may be some changes of garbage collection schedule. Please be reminded that garbage must be put out by 8:30　am on the scheduled day.

While the renovation work is undergoing, all the incinerator furnace will stop their operation. Please be reminded to refrain from bringing rubbish to the North Clean center and remember to put out the garbage at the collection point. During the year-end and new year period, congestion at the clean center is expected.　Your　 understanding and cooperation to plan the date to avoid the congestion when you bring the garbage to the center.

③Ticket for large sized rubbish

Please refrain from bringing the large sized rubbish to the clean center, and instead please use collection service with the ticket for large sized rubbish to be picked up at the collection point.　

④Branches and vegetation debris to South Clean center

You can bring branches and vegetation debris to South Clean center.

⑤please sorting your garbage properly

Due to the renovation work, the temporary equipment is used for waste disposal, so that it takes more time than usual to process the waste. Incorrect sorting can lead to delays in processing.

In particular, there have been many fires caused by incorrect disposal of lithium-ion batteries included in products that are charged and used. This can lead to facility shutdowns and injuries to workers. Please dispose the rubbish by sorting correct manner.

Portable fans and smartphones contain lithium-ion batteries. Always dispose of lithium-ion batteries as hazardous waste (dangerous and harmful substances).

Starting acceptance of the request for certification for “Nursery school system for all the child”

 “Nursery school system for all the child” which even the child not enrolled with any nursery or day-care center can attend the nursery school on hourly basis despite the guardian not satisfying the requirement is starting in October. To use this scheme, certification in advance is required.

Maximum hours of the use

　Maximum is 10 hours monthly.

Matsuba nursery school, Sakaine nursery school, children and childcare support facility “TeToTe”and others.

Infant of 6 months old to 2 years old and younger who are not yet enrolled with any nursery schools or others.

This allowance is provided to individuals with severe physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities who require constant care-support in their daily lives. An application is necessary to receive the allowance.

We have a system to offer Special Childcare Allowance to a parent or guardian of children 19years old and under with physical or mental disability who need the care-support in daily lives.  Notification on the need of submitting the updated income statement was sent out. To receive the allowance on scheduled date, updated income statement is required to be submitted and the Allowance Certificate.

Have you completed HPV vaccination series?

The cause of the cervical cancer is the HPV (human papilloma virus) and infection can be prevented for almost 90% by having the vaccination.  Six months are required to have whole series of vaccination with appropriate intervals in-between each vaccination. Slots are available in late afternoon and onward.  Please plan your vaccination schedule at your earliest convenience.

Eligibility

▶ Routine vaccination＝Female born between April 2, 2009 and April 1, 2014.

▶Catch-up vaccination＝Female born between April 2,1997 and April 1,2009 who have received at least one vaccination between April 2022 and March 2025.
