Subsidy payment of 30,000 yen is offered to low-income households

 Subsidy payment is offered to support resident tax exempt households.

 

Eligibility

Any household with registered address in Kashiwa city as of 13^th December 2024, and with exempted residents’ tax for fiscal year of 2024 of all the members of the household.

※The household consisting of a tax payer’s dependents only is not eligible.

Amount of subsidy

30,000 yen subsidy payment per household

*Additional payment of 20,000 yen per child born after 2^nd April 2006.

▶ Being a member of national health insurance and is 18 years old and older as of 31^st March 2026 (Tuesday).

▶ Living in Kashiwa city and being a member of Medical Treatment Insurance for Elderly Senior, Chiba Prefecture

Others

▶ When requesting at the Health Insurance and Pension Division after April, vouchers will be issued on the day. In other cases, they will be sent out by mail to the registered address at a later date.

▶ When requesting on behalf of the applicant, self-identification document with photo is required. 

▶From fiscal year of 2026, receiving the medical check-up in the previous fiscal year will be added to the issuance requirement.

Garbage collection schedule calendar to be distributed

From 1^st March (Saturday), garbage collection schedule calendars for fiscal year 2025 are distributed via neighborhood association, resident community association, district association, and residential management company. When you do not obtain one in March, please pick one up at the following points.

  The LINE Pay service will not be an option any longer to pay the public funds, such as the insurance premiums and waterworks and sewerage service charges. 　

  Please be aware that even if LINE Pay is listed as the method of payment on the slip, it is no longer an option.

Resona Bank and Saitama Resona Bank will discontinue the payment service with payment slip with no charge at the service counter of municipal tax, waterworks and sewerage service bill and other public payments on 31^stMarch (Monday).

  Even though above banks are listed as the designated payment banks on the payment slip, please be aware that the banks will charge their handling fee. 

Others

Bank account transfer payment is continued, so no need for the change of the bank account. Payment forms with 2D codes can be used after April.

For the safety of the users first, Shonan Community Center will be closing on 31^st March (Monday) due to the deterioration and arising needs for enhanced earthquake-resistance. 

 

Alternative facilities

  We start to coordinate the development of the facility to be a new community center.

  We will secure alternative facilities during the maintenance period so that the residents can continue their activities. Alternative facilities will be shared on the website of Kashiwa City.

  Shonan Branch Library are currently cinsidered to be relocated to 1^st floor of Shonan Branch Office. Until the relocation, please use Main Library, Children’s Library and other branch libraries.

Takata Community Center is re-opening

Takata Community Center has finished its refurbishments and will re-open on 1^st April (Tuesday). The new additions are a multi-purpose meeting room, elevators, barrier-free slopes, a nursing room for mother and baby, and kids’ corner in the library.

  Please come and visit the renewed Takata Community Center as a convenient space for all.

Multi-purpose meeting rooms

A new multi-purpose meeting room with kitchen is newly added. The room can be used not only for cooking class but also a meeting room.  We also have a variety of meeting rooms such as “multi-purpose hall,” and “Japanese style meeting room.”

Bright and spacious open deck terrace

The deck terrace connects the center building and Takata Green Park. The newly developed center and lush green Takata Green Park are expected to be the venue for the events with integrated features.
