Group vaccinations will end on Sunday, May 8
Based on the vaccination rate and group vaccination appointment situation in Kashiwa City, group vaccinations at KOIL Terrace, Nanbu Clean Center and Shonan Health Center will end on the final day in March. Group vaccinations on or after April 1 will be done at Chuo Taiikukan (Chuo Gymnasium) until Sunday, May 8. Vaccinations will continue to be available at medical facilities.
Kashiwa City Covid-19 Night Vaccination Center will open
The “Kashiwa City Covid-19 Night Vaccination Center” will be open from April 1 to Sunday, May 8 at the Kashiwa City Medical Center. Please be aware that the Night Emergency Medical Center will be closed from April 1 to Sunday, May 8.

Regarding 3rd vaccinations for people aged 12 to 17
In this country, 3rd vaccinations are also being considered for people aged 12 to 17. As part of this course of action, the city is preparing to send out vaccination tickets to people aged 12 to 17 as of April 1, 2022. Additionally, the Pfizer vaccine is scheduled to be used for this age group.
Changes to the National Health Insurance premium amount

Starting on April 1, we will lower the basic amount for preschoolers and raise the maximum levy for high-income earners in the National Health Insurance premium. We will also change the number of times and the schedule for the sending out notifications of medical fees.
The basic amount for preschoolers will be lowered
The basic amount for preschoolers’ National Health Insurance premiums will be lowered in order to reduce the financial burden on households raising children.

Preschool age children who are registered in National Health Insurance.

The maximum annual insurance amount will be raised for high-income earners
The maximum annual amount for National Health Insurance will be raised to 1,020,000yen.
The number of medical fee notices sent by mail will be changed
Medical fee notices with printed records of hospital visits will be mailed 2 times per year in January and March, and the recipient will be changed to the person who received medical treatment.
Infertility treatments will be covered by insurance

Since infertility treatment will be covered by insurance from this year, as a transitional measure, we will continue to provide subsidies to those who have been receiving specific infertility treatment (IVF / ICSI) since last year.
Eligibility
People who meet all of the following criteria
▶Either spouse is a registered resident of Kashiwa City.
▶The relationship is a legal or common-law marriage
▶A physician has diagnosed that there is no chance or an extremely low probability of conception except through specific fertility treatment.
▶Receiving treatment at a specific medical facility.
▶The wife’s age when beginning treatment was 42 years or younger.
▶Treatment began during or before the 2021 fiscal year.
▶Treatment ended in the 2022 fiscal year.
▶The cost of the treatment not covered by insurance was all paid out-of-pocket.
▶The number of treatments did not exceed the city’s fertility treatment subsidy limit of 6 times.
(The subsidy limit is 3 times for people who began treatment from 40 to 42 years of age.

100,000 yen or 300,000 yen per treatment.

Application
By Friday, March 31, complete an application form available at the Community Health Division (Wellness Kashiwa 3rd Flor). Attach the required documents and mail it to 277-0004 Kashiwa-Shita 65-1, Kashiwa City Public Health Center, Community Health Division. You may also submit your application in person. Applications must be received by the deadline.

Smartphone payments
You will be able to pay city taxes, etc. using the “d-harai” smartphone payment app. In order to use this system, you will need to register for the app and charge your account.

Credit card payments
Payment of city tax, etc. using a credit card to pay through a computer or smartphone has changed to the “F-REGI” public funds payment method. You can make payments by registering your credit card information through the city website.
Processing fee
110 yen for payment amounts up to 10,000 yen. The fee will increase by 110 yen for each additional 10,000 yen of the payment amount.
