Regarding the mailing of vaccination tickets
In Kashiwa City, we are providing the 3rd dose of the vaccine to everyone 18 years of age and older when 8 months have passed since their 2nd vaccination.
The vaccination tickets will be sent in order before 8 months have passed since the 2nd vaccination.
The mailing schedule may be moved forward according to the vaccine supply and depending on the infection situation in the city.

How to check the date of your 2nd vaccination
The dates of your 1st and 2nd vaccination are written on the vaccination certificate which was issued after your vaccination.
In addition, the dates of your 1st and 2nd vaccinations will be printed on your 3rd vaccination ticket.
If the 1st and 2nd vaccinations were administered outside of the city (large-scale vaccination centers, etc.), will vaccination tickets be delivered?
The city is processing the records for 1st and 2nd vaccinations all together, so vaccination tickets will be sent out by the city regardless of where you received your vaccinations. Therefore, people who had their 1st and 2nd vaccinations outside of the city at large-scale vaccination facilities or at their workplace will receive their vaccination ticket at the appropriate time.
Vaccination schedule and how to get a vaccination
In general, 3rd vaccinations will start to be provided to those for whom 8 months have passed since their 2nd vaccination.
If you have received your vaccination ticket, you can make an appointment even before 8 months have passed.

What type of vaccine can I receive?
For the 3rd vaccination, the Pfizer vaccine will be used at individual vaccinations, and the Takeda/Moderna vaccine will be used at group vaccinations. The city cannot provide other types of vaccines at this time. In this country, these two types of vaccines can be used for the 3rd vaccination, regardless of the type of vaccine used for the 1st and 2nd vaccinations.
Individual vaccinations can also be scheduled through the city’s online appointment system
The method for making appointments for the 3rd vaccination is different from what was used for the 1st and 2nd vaccinations. For the 3rd vaccination, individual vaccination appointments at medical facilities can also be made using the city’s online appointment system or the call center. However, some medical facilities are scheduling individual appointments directly, as was the case for the 1st and 2nd vaccinations. For more information on the appointment method and which medical facilities are providing vaccinations, please refer to the notice provided with the vaccination tickets, or the Kashiwa City website.
