There will be closures at public facilities for the Year-End and New-Year’s holiday from Saturday, December 26 to Tuesday, January 5. Please be aware that the dates of closure will be different depending on the facility.

How to dispose of garbage

During the Year-End and New Year’s Holiday, the garbage collection schedule will be different than usual, so please check the schedule on the Garbage Disposal Calendar beforehand. (If the type of garbage put out for disposal is different from the type indicated on the calendar, the garbage will not be collected.)

Garbage disposal facilities are very crowded at the Year-End and New Year Holiday, resulting in long waiting times. There may be traffic jams with cars lining up to enter the facilities, inconveniencing people who live in the neighborhood.

Please try to put your garbage out for disposal on the scheduled days, and plan the times you bring garbage to disposal facilities in order to avoid crowding.
