Applications will be accepted for bicycle parking spaces selected by draw for the 2020 fiscal year

There are 27 bicycle parking lots in Kashiwa City. Bicycle parking spaces will be allotted by draw for the bicycle parking lots listed below.
Applications for new parking permits at other bicycle parking lots will be accepted on a first come first serve basis starting from Monday, March 2, 2020.
Kashiwa Station East Exit, Bicycle Parking Lots 1 and 2

How to apply (by postcard)
Obtain a postcard application from Kashiwa Station East Exit, Bicycle Parking Lots 1, 2 or 3. Complete the required parts of the application.
▶To apply by mail, affix a 63 yen stamp to the reply postcard, and post the application, ensuring that it is postmarked by the deadline.
Or,
▶Bring the completed application directly to the Kashiwa Station East Exit Bicycle Parking Lot 1, 2 or 3.
How to apply (using the internet application form)
Apply using the Shibazono Kaihatsu website. Applications for more than one person from the same email address will not be accepted.
Kita-Kashiwa Station South Exit, Bicycle Parking Lot 3

Obtain a postcard application from the Kita-Kashiwa Station South Exit, Bicycle Parking Lot 1 or 3. Complete the required parts of the application.

Takayanagi Station West Exit, Bicycle Parking Lot 1, 1st and 2nd Level

Obtain a postcard application from the Transportation Facilities Division (City Hall, Main Building, 4th Floor), or from the Takayanagi Station West Exit Bicycle Parking Lot 1. Complete the required parts of the application.
▶Affix a 63 yen stamp to the reply postcard, and post the application, ensuring that it is postmarked by the deadline. You may also drop off the application in the message box at the Takayanagi Station West Exit Bicycle Parking Lot 1.
Or,
▶Bring the application to the Transportation Facilities Division.

Items that apply to all bicycle parking lots selected by draw
Application period
▶Kashiwa Station East Exit Bicycle Parking Lots 1 and 2, and Takayanagi Station West Exit, Bicycle Parking Lot 1 Level 1 and 2
Not including the Year End and New Year’s Holiday, applications will be accepted from Monday, December 9 to Friday, January 24
Internet applications will be accepted over the same time period, including the Year End and New Year’s Holiday.
▶Kita-Kashiwa South Exit Bicycle Parking Lot 3
Not including the Year End and New Year’s Holiday, applications will be accepted from Thursday, December 19 to Friday, January 31, between 6:00am and 8:00pm.
Results of parking space allotment by draw
Results will be sent out after the end of February 2020.
Other
▶If multiple applications from one person for the same parking lot are received, all applications will be invalid.
▶Applications without a postage stamp will be invalid.
▶The postcard application form is different for each bicycle parking lot.
▶Other bicycle parking lots will accept applications from Monday, March 2 of next year.

Illumination Light Displays in 2 of Kashiwa City’s Parks

The park will be decorated with multicolored lights, creating an illuminated night scene that is much different from how the park looks during the day. Come out and see the magical world of light.
Akebonoyama Agricultural Park
The display of 180,000 LED lights will mainly be around the field in front of the windmill. The park will be lit up brilliantly in the evening. This year’s theme is “Christmas”.

Friday, November 22 to Wednesday, December 25, 4:30pm to 9:00pm
Access
▶From Kashiwa Station West Exit
Take the bus bound for Mitsui Danchi. The park is a 20-minute walk from the “Tsuchiyatsu-Iriguchi” bus stop.
▶From Abiko Station North Exit
Take the Akebonoyama Koen Iriguchi (Park Entrance) bus. The park is a 15-minute walk from the last stop.
Other
During the illumination period, Central Parking Lot B (next to the field in front of the windmill) can be used. On the first day, starting at 4:45pm, there will be a ceremony to switch on the lights, and a musical performance by Tomise Higashi Elementary School children.
The event may be cancelled in case of poor weather.
Kita-Kashiwa Furusato Park
The park entrance, Hanakotori Coffee Stand, and other areas will be lit up with colorful LED lights. Come and be enveloped in a world of light as you walk under the illumination arch,
Time
From 5:00pm to 10:00pm until the end of January.
Access
The park entrance is a 10-minute walk from Kita-Kashiwa Station South Entrance.
Application for renewal of the Specified Chronic Illnesses Medical Treatment Subsidy System

If you are currently receiving medical treatment subsidy for the treatment of a specified chronic illness, and you have not already completed the renewal application, please make an application for renewal within the validity period of your medical subsidy certificate.
Other
Advisory support from a health nurse is available for people with chronic illnesses and their family members.
