Reception of marriage registrations

In Kashiwa City, marriage registrations will be accepted on the Change of Era Day at a temporary reception desk.

Date and time: Wednesday, May 1, 8:30am to 5:15pm

Place: Citizens’ Division (Kashiwa City Hall Main Building, 1st floor)

Other: Other than the above location, marriage registrations will be accepted at the Kashiwa City Hall Security Office (Kashiwa City Hall Main Building, 1st basement floor).

Changes to fees for use of city facilities

Consumption Tax will increase to 10% on Tuesday, October 1. The fees for use of city facilities, and city water and sewer usage fees will be revised accordingly. As for sports facilities, fees will be revised according to consumption tax, and since the designated facility manager is changed, the fees will be returned to the regulated amount that was reduced by the previous manager.

Financial assistance system for starting school

Contact: Schools and Education Division – Phone: 7191−7367

Financial assistance is available for parents and guardians of children attending public elementary or junior high school, who are residents of Kashiwa City, and experiencing financial difficulty. If approval for financial assistance is granted, school lunch fees will be subsidized, and financial assistance will be given for part of the fees for school, such as school supplies and school trips.
