Foreigners who live, work or attend school in Kashiwa City.
Students will learn Japanese at introductory and beginner levels to help them with day-to-day life in Japan.
Please come directly to the classroom before class begins.
Students will be responsible for purchasing a textbook.

Those who meet all of the following criteria
▶Residents of Kashiwa City
▶No unpaid city taxes
▶Own a home that is eligible for subsidy, or are living with family members who own an eligible home.
Detached or some multiple-family homes in Kashiwa City, that will begin construction on or after April 1.
Wednesday, May 1 to Friday, February 28 of next year
How to apply
Application forms are available at the Environmental Policy Division (City Hall Main Building, 4th floor). Fill out the application form, and submit it directly to the Environmental Policy Division.

Green Curtain Seminar - How to grow vines to block the summer heat
Green Curtains are vines that cover a wide area, and can be used for shade in summer. They are fun to grow, and it is fun to harvest the vegetables too! By keeping out the summer heat, you can also save electricity. Why not take this opportunity to give it a try?
