Next year, the Rugby World Cup will be held in Japan. Kashiwa will be hosting the pre-game training camp for the All Blacks, New Zealand’s world-famous rugby team.
Rugby World Cup 2019 pre-game training camp location selection
The Rugby World Cup will start on Friday, September 20 of next year.The teams representing each country make arrangements in the country hosting the tournament, and the local governing organizations hosting the teams look forward to the increase in visitors and the excitement that comes with it.
Kashiwa City has been selected as the location for the All Blacks pre-game training camp. The team will use the sports stadium in Kashiwanoha Prefectural Park for their training ground, and facilities such as the Kashiwanoha Municipal Elementary School will also be provided to support the New Zealand team.
What is a pre-game training camp?
The pre-game training camp is different from a regular training camp managed solely by the organizing committee. It is operated cooperatively after direct negotiation between the team and the local governing organization. The local governing organization of the training camp location can run events independently to build interest and excitement in rugby.

What is the “Yahoo! Disaster Alert App?”
Using this smartphone app, you can quickly obtain information regarding disasters and disaster prevention such as information on earthquakes, heavy rainfall, and evacuation. Now, you will be able to receive information from the city through this application.

Download the application. At the initial settings screen, “Area Settings”, set your area as Kashiwa City.

Teganuma Fireworks Festival 2018

The Teganuma Fireworks Festival, a huge event that brings sparkle to summer in Kashiwa, will be held again this year. There will be fundraising activities for the fireworks festival such as donation boxes and street fundraising around the city. The fireworks event will be through “Residents’ support and residents’ participation”. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
