Municipal and prefectural tax payment notices will be sent out

Tax payment notices for individual municipal and prefectural tax (regular collection part) will be sent out on Monday, June 13. The deadline for payment (for the first payment period or the total amount) is Thursday, June 30. Certificates pertaining to 2016 fiscal year municipal and prefectural tax (Tax Payment Eligibility, Tax Non-Payment Eligibility, Income and Tax Payment Certificates) can be issued from Monday, June 13. Please note that certificates cannot be issued on the same day for those who have not completed a tax return.

Be sure to get a medical check-up once a year -  Kashiwa City National Health Insurance specific check-ups and Kashiwa City Over-75 check-ups

Health check-up tickets will be sent out at the end of May to those who are eligible. Please choose one check-up method from individual check-up, group check-up, "ningen-dokku" comprehensive check-up, or "nou-dokku" brain check-up, and have your check-up done.
Eligibility▶Specific check-up = Those who are enrolled in Kashiwa City National Health Insurance, and will be 40 to 75 years of age by March 31 of next year. ▶Over-75 check-up = Those who are residents of Kashiwa City, and have a Chiba Prefecture Latter-Stage Elderly Medical Treatment insurance card (including those who are 65 years of age and older who have a Chiba Prefecture Latter-Stage Elderly Medical Treatment insurance card).

●December and January are very crowded, so please try to have your check-up done by the fall.

Don't forget the present situation report for childcare allowance

Information will be sent out to those who are eligible to receive childcare allowance (jido te-ate) and need to submit a present situation report. The present situation report is a way to confirm the situation in which a child is being raised, and is necessary in order to receive childcare allowance.
Submission deadline: Thursday, June 30

Spaces available in "Kodomo Room" day care centers for enrollment in July and August

In order to meet the needs of children during the elementary school summer vacation, part of the "Kodomo Room" day care will be accepting children to enter from Saturday, July 16 to Wednesday, August 31.
Opening hours:▶Monday to Friday = 8:00am to 7:00pm (Tuesday, July 19, and Wednesday, July 20 will be from after school to 7:00pm.) ▶Saturday = 8:00am to 6:30pm
Eligibility: Households where neither of the parents or guardians can provide child care for children (elementary school children) due to employment or other circumstances.
Cost: Saturday, July 16 to Sunday, July 31 = 5,000 yen for the month, August = 15,000 yen for the month. (補足)There is a reduction and exemption system for child care fees
Application: Pick up an application form from the After-School Daycare Division (City Hall Annex, 3rd Floor), or any Kodomo Room). Complete the required parts of the form, and mail it to 〒277-8505, Kashiwa City Hall, After-School Daycare Division, or apply in person at the After-School Daycare Division. Applications must be received or postmarked by Thursday, June 30.
Applications will be available in Kodomo Room daycare centers from Thursday, June 2.
