Please cooperate with the recycling of portable digital consumer electronic devices

Contact: Waste Policy Division (Haiki-Butsu Seisaku Ka) - Phone: 7167-1140
In the city, a program for recycling portable digital electronic devices has been in place since November of last year. These used devices are collected in special collection boxes located at the City Hall and Kinrin Centers, and efforts are being made to recycle the valuable metals in the devices.
October is 3-R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Promotion Month. How about looking around your home to see if there are any unused portable digital consumer electronic devices? When we continue to recycle, we can make effective use of the recycled material, without using so many resources unnecessarily. We would like to ask for your continued cooperation with these efforts.
◎ For more details on the items that can be collected, and the locations of the collection boxes, please see the city homepage.
