Planned construction work on the water supply reservoir
The city will carry out construction work to replace the water pipes connecting to the distributing water supply reservoir. There is a possibility that in some areas, the Kashiwa City tap water may become muddy during the work. The status of the construction work progress can be checked on the official web site of the Kashiwa City Waterworks Department. The city apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your understanding and cooperation.
Date and time of construction work: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Thursday, July 12
(*) Please note that the construction will be postponed until Tuesday, July 17 in case of inclement weather on July 12.
Construction work location: Water Source Number 3 (Address: 1811-12 Nakahara, Kashiwa City)
Inquiries: Water Supply Section: 04-7166-3183
Special thanks to Ms.Kiyoshi Inoue translation volunteers.
Water bills will be reduced
When the water supply was cut off on May 19, it unfortunately inconvenienced many city residents. With the next water meter reading (either in July or August), three cubic meters of the amount of water used (the amount of water corresponding to the amount used by a four person family over three days) will be deducted from the bill to account for the inconvenience, and the impurity of water when the water supply was resumed.
Details regarding the amount of money, etc., will be sent out in a notice with the meter reading at the end of the month. (Please note that there will be a difference between the amount of water used and the water billing amount on the meter-reading slip).
