Application for Authorized Day-Care Center and Private Kindergarten for April 2024

From 15^th October (Sunday), application form for authorized Day-Care center (class 1 authorized day-care) and private kindergarten in Kashiwa city will be available.

 

Starting date of accepting the application form

1^st November (Wednesday)

Others

Some authorized day-care centers and private kindergartens will start to distribute the application forms later than 15^th October (Sunday).

Subsidy to support the cost of Flu Vaccination

Kashiwa city will support the cost of Flu vaccination for children and the elderly. Flu is a life-threatening illness in a severe case. Please have vaccinated before it goes around.

Vaccination for child

Eligibility

Anybody of age of 6 months old to 6th grade in elementary school with the registered address in Kashiwa when vaccination is due.

Subsidy payment

1.500 yen  maximum

※Any exceeding cost must be on your expense. Up to twice in fiscal year

Others

If you have vaccinated at any medical institute other than the appointed medical institute by Kashiwa city, you must pay the full cost first and then claim the subsidy later.

Vaccination for the Elderly

Eligibility

Anybody with a registered address in Kashiwa when vaccination is due and falls in any condition below.

▶65 years old and older

▶60-64 years old with any disability of cardiac・kidney・respiratory system constricting daily life immensely or any disability of immune system disabling daily life.

※A copy of physical disability certificate or a medical certificate issued by the doctor is required.

Amount you pay

1,500 yen ※Once during fiscal year

Others

Anybody on welfare is exempted for the cost. Please bring your welfare status certificate.

How to apply

Please contact the medical institute of your choice in advance. For the vaccination, please bring the following,

Mother and Child Health Handbook (Vaccination for child only), any self-identification such as Health Insurance Card to confirm the address of person intending to be vaccinated.

Booking for group vaccination starting from 0:30am on 11th October (Wednesday) is available online system and COVID-19 Call center.

For anybody older than 12 years old with registered address in Kashiwa and initial vaccination (1st and 2nd) done, group vaccination is available at the following venues.　※Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

You can have the Covid-19 vaccination and Flu vaccination at the same day. However other vaccination must have the 14-day-intervals.

Closing date of application of the grant of Emergency Support Benefits for Price Increases of the utility and foods is approaching. If the application form is not received by the closing date, you will not be receiving the grant. Please make sure to send the application by the closing date.

 

Eligibility

Any household with registered address in Kashiwa city as of 1^st June 2023 which falls into either condition below.

①the resident tax of all the member in the household is subject for exemption or only the resident tax per capita is subject to taxation.

② During 2023, experiencing the sudden change of household budget, and current income is equivalent to the level of income of tax exempted household

Per household, 30,000 yen

Application for tax exemption entitlement of the Elderly with disability

We are accepting the application for the tax-exemption entitlement for income tax-return for citizens with disability.

Eligibility

Those who satisfy all the following conditions.

▶being 65 years old and older certified for long-term nursing care needs

▶not certified for disability certificate

▶self or dependents are not residence-tax exempted

Window payment service at some banks will be no longer available

Window payment service (no handling charge) for city-tax, water & sewage charges and other public funds will be no longer available at Mitsubishi UFJ bank, Tsukuba bank, Mizuho bank, and Mizuho Trust bank after 31st March 2024 (Sunday).

Even though banks above are listed as an appointed bank on your payment slip, when you pay city-tax and other public funds using window payment at any banks above, you need to pay the handling charge from April 2024.

Others

Account transfer payment is still available, so that there is not any need to change the bank account.
