Taking the fact of rising cost of living into consideration, we offer special benefit to support the household with a child to provide more opportunities to enrich children’s learning and experiences. To those who need to apply, we sent out the application form in the middle of August.

Eligibility

Guardians of children in the age range of 1st grader in elementary school to 3rd grader in junior high school with registered address in Kashiwa city as of 30th April 2023

 

Amount of Benefit

10,000 yen per eligible child

Benefit to the household with low income. 30,000 yen per eligible household

Taking the fact of rising cost of living due to the rises in utility bills of electricity and gas, and foods and etc.,     into consideration, we offer a special benefit to support the household with low income experiencing huge impact on their living cost.

Amount of Benefit

 30,000 yen per eligible household

 

Eligibility

As of 1^st of June 2023, any household with registered address in Kashiwa city, and satisfies either of the following criteria

▶①Resident tax of every member of the household is exempted or only paying tax on the resident tax on per capita basis.

▶②With the sudden change of household budget, income is almost equivalent to the level of income with tax exempted household.

COVID-19 Vaccination for Autumn is starting

Starting the additional vaccination for person of 5 years old and older  

 

From September, additional vaccination for person of 5 years old and older who has done initial (first and second) vaccinations will start. You can use vaccination ticket already in your hands for the additional vaccination. For further details, as soon as being confirmed, it will be announced on the homepage of Kashiwa city.

 

XBB.1 type compatible monovalent vaccine

For the vaccination from September, we are planning to use XBB.1 type compatible monovalent vaccine which is derived from Omicron.

 

Vaccination ticket to be sent out

To those who had been vaccinated 3 months ago after May, vaccination ticket will be sent out accordingly after 23^rd of August (Wednesday). Vaccination is starting from September.  Please hold onto the ticket until your vaccination.

Takata Community Center will be closed due to the renovation construction. Check the alternative shelters in your area

Due to the renovation construction, Takata Community Center will be closed. During the closure, this facility will not function as the shelter. We appreciate your understanding.

During the closure, as the alternative shelters, please go to Kashiwa-Dai-4 and Dai-7 elementary schools and other shelters close to your house in case of emergency.

Make sure to collect new card of National Health Insurance & Medical Insurance for elderly

Returned cards of Health Insurance and Medical Insurance for elderly which had been sent out in July but returned (not delivered or not collected) are now kept at Health Insurance and Pension division. If you have not received your new insurance card yet, please make sure to collect it at your earliest convenience.

Anybody on Special Childcare allowance scheme has to submit the Income statement and allowance certificate. Once you miss the closing date, you will not able to receive the allowance on time.
