Children’s  Medical Expenses Subsidy Card

Children’s Medical Expenses Subsidy Card which you can use from 1^st of August (Tuesday) is sent out on 19^th of July (Wednesday).  In case of not receiving it by 26^th of July (Wednesday), please contact the division.

Monthly limits for the copayment (300 yen per one outpatient・hospitalization of one day) is implemented  from August. After the 6^th outpatient at the same medical institution in one month, and after the 11^th day of hospitalization, you do not need to pay the copayment.

Anybody living in Kashiwa city and being in the eligible age group to attend high school

※Anybody being already married is excluded.

Make sure to pick up your “My Number” card

In September, we are expecting the increasing numbers of booking for picking-up the “My number” card, and you may find it difficult to book the date of your preference. Anybody already has received the notification to book the pickup date is advised to book the date and pick up at your earliest convenience.

Anybody who had applied for the “My Number” card by the end of February 2023 can earn the “My Number” points.

Once you receive your “My Number” card, do not forget to register to collect the points.  Some cashless services to collect the points may finish their point collecting period earlier than addressed.

◎You can register to collect the points by 30^th of September (Saturday).

The validity of the card for anybody on the national health insurance scheme in either of the following conditions during 1^st of August (Tuesday) to 31^st of July (Wednesday) 2024 is going to be less than a year. ▶becoming 70 years old  ▶becoming 75 years old and transferring to the medical insurance for elderly scheme.

 

Exemption /Postponement of payment of National Pension

National Pension Type 1 insurance member who is experiencing financial difficulties paying the premium for National pension due to the decline of income or loss of employment, can apply for the exemption or postponement of the payment.

 Pest control spraying on the rice fields by an  unmanned  helicopter

Traffic Safety Campaign, 10^th-19^th July

During summer holiday, extra caution is required for the safety of the children from the traffic accidents. Adults are expected to play the role model complying and practicing the safety regulations.

　Focused points

▶Wear safety helmet when riding the bicycle and comply the traffic regulations  

▶Malicious and dangerous driving such as drunk driving and over speeding have to be eradicated.

▶Protect the safety of pedestrian, especially children and elderly people.

▶Ensure fastening the seat belts in any seat anytime and correct setting of child seats

 

Get tested for Hepatitis

In many cases, there are no noticeable symptoms after infection with hepatitis, and if left untreated, it may progress to liver cancer. It is important to have a screening done to detect the disease in its early stage to treat at the earlier stage.

Anybody living in Kashiwa city and satisfies all the criteria

▶40 years old and older as of 31^st of March 2024

▶No planned screening in general medical checkup, “Ningen Dokku” or medical checkup required in the workplace

▶Never had this screening done in the past

▶Not with any liver disease undergoing the treatment or under medical observation

Others

Hepatitis screening information and vouchers have been sent out to people who are in the age group of 40 to 80 years old (every 5 year age increments)as of 31^st of March 2024.

Had mixed vaccination of measles and rubella done?

Measles and rubella are very infectious disease. Hand-washing and wearing masks are not enough to protect you from measles and rubella. To acquire the sufficient immunity, two vaccinations required, first one is at the age of one year old and second one is before the enrollment of elementary school. If you do not have them done while being offered, you will have to pay all the cost yourself after the offered period. You can schedule to have the vaccination during the summer holiday.
