Eligibility

0-year-old baby with birth registration reported during 1st December 2022 and 28th February 2023, and its mother has registered address in Kashiwa city as of 2nd September 2022

 

Others

It has been sent out in the middle of January to any child of 18 Years old and under with birth registered by 30th of November 2022. In case of losing the unused book voucher, please contact Schools and Education Division.

Change of procedure and application period of for municipal bicycle parking

From April, application procedure to use the municipal bicycle parking is changing from application at the main bicycle parking to application by post and on line. Application period is changing as follows．From previous application period starting 2-days-before the month of the contract is changing as follows. Please check the procedure and make sure to apply during the new application period.

You may not receive  permit certificate and membership　card(sticker) in the beginning of the month if there is any delay of application or payment. Please remember the application and payment done with enough days advance.

Change of Cashless Payment system for City tax

From 1st of April (Saturday), there will be some changes in the cashless payment system.

To Pay with credit card, you have to access “Local –tax payment website”.  To pay on the smartphone application, you scan “eL-QR cod”, instead of previous scanning procedure of “Bar-code on the payment slip to pay at the convenience store”.

Property and City Planning tax, Light mother vehicle tax, 

and Municipal and Prefectural tax(desire to payment)   

 

Others

Handling charge is added when you pay with credit card. Handling charge does not generate revenue for the city.

Kashiwa station city hall service center is open on following Sundays to satisfy the increasing demands for registration of moving in and out.

From 8:30AM to 5:00PM on 19 and 26 of March, 2 and 9 of April

 

Available services

Registration of address(registration of moving in and out), issuance of certificates(copy of residency, Inkan(name stamp) registration certificate and tax payment certificate), Inkan(name stamp)registration, Family registration (marriage registration and birth registration), and payment of city taxes.

 

 

Change of address/Tanaka Kita(North) Elementary school as an Evacuation site

Tanaka Kita(North) Elementary school (1536-1 O-Aota) is

moving. Due to the move, function as the evacuation site is finishing on 31st of March(Friday).

From 1st of April(Saturday), Tanaka Kita(North) Elementary (1-7-1 Funato) is assigned as the evacuation site.

Garbage Collection Calendars for the 2023 fiscal year will be distributed through neighborhood associations, self-governing associations, wards and residence management companies, etc. If you have not received your calendar by mid-March, please pick one up from any of the following locations.

Omicron compatible Vaccination for the 3rd time for children is starting

From 22nd of March (Wednesday), Omicron compatible Vaccination for children from Pfizer for the 3rd time is starting at medical institutes in Kashiwa city. Please refer to the homepage of Kashiwa city.

Group Vaccination will be finishing on 25th March(Saturday)

Group vaccination will be finishing on 25th of March(Saturday). Anybody considering the vaccination at the group vaccination site is advised to plan as soon as possible. Drop-in vaccination (without booking) is available too. In case of having the omicron compatible vaccination after group vaccination service finished, you are advised to check with the available medical institutes for omicron compatible vaccine.

Currently government is considering the free Vaccination (at public expense) from April onward. As soon as the government sets the guideline, it will be shared on the homepage of Kashiwa city.
