Schedule of Group Vaccination of Omicron compatible Vaccine in February is available at following venues. At Nanbu Clean Center and Shonan Hoken (Public Health) center, Omicron compatible Vaccine (BA.4-5) by Moderna instead of Pfizer is available from February.

Eligibility

Anybody of 12 years old and over with registered address in Kashiwa city and with more than 2 vaccinations done.　※Anybody of 15 years old and under has to be accompanied by the guardian.

What to bring

Ticket with pre-vaccination screening questionnaire, self-identification document, prescription record book　(if you have one)

Reminder

Omicron compatible Vaccine is offered only once per person, you cannot have the second Omicron compatible vaccination. 

Vaccination is at your discretion

It is at your discretion to have the vaccination.

Your understanding of the efficacy and the adverse reaction of the vaccination is required before having the vaccination.

 

File your municipal and prefectural tax return as soon as possible

Tax returns are a report of your income in 2022 (from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022). The closing date for tax returns is 15th March (Wednesday), so please submit your tax return as soon as possible.

Municipal and prefectural tax returns ➡ at city hall　starting from 16th February(Thursday)

Who needs to file tax return?

Anybody with registered address in Kashiwa city as of 1st of January, 2023 and with the total income in 2022 exceeding the following amounts, needs to file the tax return.

No dependent family members = 415,000 yen

With dependent family members =

 315,000 yen x (number of dependent family members +1) +289,000 yen

Who does not need to file a tax return

Anybody who falls into following categories is not required to file the tax return.

▶Anybody who is filing the tax return at the tax office.

▶The income is only the salary and the salary payment receipt is filed by the employer to the city hall.　

※Please check with your employer regarding the filing of the receipt to the city hall.

▶Income is only from public pension (bereaved family pension benefits, disability pension and other non-taxable pensions) and additional tax deduction is not required.

How to file a tax return

Filing a return by mail

Municipal/prefectural tax return forms will be sent out by mail at the end of January to those who filed a tax return last year. After referring to the guide included in the tax return package, fill out the required parts of the form and mail it to 277-8505, Kashiwa City Hall, Citizens’ Tax Division by 15th March （Wed） (postmark on the day is valid). If you need a copy of the tax return, please make a copy before you submit it. If you need a stamped receipt to show that your tax return was received, please include a self-addressed envelope with a postage stamp for the required amount.

Subsidy of 10,000 yen (per child) will be paid to child of 18 years old and under

A subsidy of 10,000 yen per household will be provided to the household rearing children of 18 years old and under experiencing severe financial difficulties due to the effects of COVID-19.

To those who do not need to apply to receive the subsidy, notification will be sent out on 10th February (Fri) and the subsidy will be paid on 6th (Mon) or 7Th  (Tue) March.

To those who need to apply, application will be sent out on 17th February (Fri). Please apply by the closing date.

 

Eligibility

Any guardian satisfying all the following conditions.

▶️Have registered address in Kashiwa city as of 30th November 2022.

▶️Rearing child born on 2nd April 2004 – 1st April 2023 

Amount of subsidy

10,000 yen per child

Who need to apply

Eligibility

Any household satisfies either category.

▶️Household with child born on 2nd April 2004 - 1st April 2023 and not receiving child allowance or child rearing allowance

▶️Guardian of the child is a civil servant and receiving child allowance paid in the salary

※If having received Temporary Special subsidy for child rearing household in 2021, no need to apply

How to Apply

Please mail the application form with required documents by post in the return envelope by 31st March (Fri). (Must arrive by this date) or on the homepage of Kashiwa city

※in the case of the child born after February 2023, closing date is 31st May (Wed)

Municipal bicycle parking

Additional Application for periodical usage contract for the fiscal year of 2023 of city bicycle parking is starting. Application is accepted “first-come, first-served” basis. When insufficiency or false is found in the application, please be aware that the application is invalid.

Any bicycle parking being already full will not accept

any additional application of bicycle any type of moter bike.
