Watch out for heatstroke when wearing facemask

Wearing facemask for protection against COVID-19 often makes difficult to release the body heat.  Try to remember following points not to get heatstroke.　

3 points to protect yourself from getting Heatstroke

 

１．You can remove your facemask in the open air

　NO NEED TO WEAR FACEMASK when you are not engaging in conversation in the open air and can secure sufficient distance (more than 2 meters away)

２．Avoid the heat

◆when you go out, use the parasol or wear the cap/hat to avoid the sun, and try to wear breathable clothing.

◆Practice frequent ventilation, and control the room temperature using air-conditioning devices.

◆Try not to go out in scorching hot day or the time unless you have the necessity to go out.

３．Hydrate yourself frequently

◆Hourly charge of fluid

◆Daily target is 1.2 litter of fluid.

◆When you　perspire copiously, do not forget to take sodium(salt).

 

Try Heatstroke warning alert

Ministry of Environment issues heatstroke warning alert when the risk of heatstroke is forecasted high based on “the Heat Index (WBGT)”monitoring temperature, humidity and intensity of sunlight. Exemption/postponement of payment of National pension

　First insure person of National Pension who is experiencing financially difficulty to pay National pension premium because of the decline of income or loss of employment, can apply for exemption of postponement of payment. We also have special scheme for those who experiencing decline of income and etc., due to the COVID-19.

COVID-19 3rd vaccination is available at group vaccination venue

Those who have financial difficulty in paying premium and property tax due to COVID-19 can be granted for the remittance, exemption or postponement of payment by applying the scheme before the due date of payment.
