Special subsidy payment for Single parent household

We offer Special Subsidy payment for single parent household experiencing financial difficulties due to COVID-19. We have paid the special subsidy on 7th June to the household entitled for child rearing allowances payment for April. Other than the households above are required to apply for the special subsidy payment.

Eligibility　

Single parent household which is rearing child under 18 years old or person under the age of 20 with dissabilites  at the date of 1st April 2022(Reiwa 4nen), falls into either circumstance below

➔beneficiary of public pension with income for 2020(Reiwa2nen) which is under the level of entitlement of child rearing allowance ➔Experiencing income drop due to COVID-19 and income below the the level of entitlement for child rearing allowance.

Amount of Allowances　

50.000yen per entitled child

How to apply　

By 28th Feb(Tue) 2023, you can apply by sending by post(must arrive by the date) or bringing in the application form which is available at Child Welfare Division(3rd Floor, city hall annex) with necessary documents.

Financially struggling guardians of any child falling in either condition below for 1st April till the day of applicaion. 

⇒children enrolling at elementary and junior high school in Kashiwa city

⇒children living in Kashiwa and enrolling public elementary and junior high school  in other cities

※Except those who are entitled for school attendance support from other cities.

Japan Meteorological Agency has started to predict linear precipitation zone from 1st June. When forcast is announced, you have to be extra cautious because it means the high risk of disaster due to the heavy rain. We share means of collecting information to prepare for the flood damage from the viewpoint of “Protect youself”.

If you have any worries on your preperation for the flood disaster, start from checking the list below

◎Check1：check if the area you live safe?

　You can check the area you live safe from the inundation and flood disaster in Flood disaster hazard map by Kashiwa city (available in web version too). You can check your shelter and the route to the shelter for just in case.

◎Check2：Check the area where you and your family member go regularly.

　It is not possible for the family members always staying  together. You can check the risk of flooding for the area where your family members go regularly such as work place, school, and etc., .It is a good idea to discuss in advance and confirm the action to take in case of disaster. 

◎Check3：How to collect the information on disaster.

　It is not possible to predict where and when heavy rain or torrential rain falls.  Protect yourself and your family member by securing the means of collecting information on any disaster.

　Kashiwa city is distributing “Flood disaster hazard map” which shows area and the depth of inundation, shelters and etc, based on the simulation of river flooding and inundation level in case of the break of bank.
