Children’s vaccinations are voluntary

Children’s Covid-19 vaccinations will begin at medical facilities in the city, in cooperation with the Kashiwa City Medical Association and Pediatric Association. If you would like to have your child vaccinated, please refer to the Kashiwa City website for a list of medical facilities that can provide vaccinations, and for information regarding the appointment reservation process. After obtaining the necessary information, please make an appointment.

As for the advantage of getting vaccinated, if the child has an underlying disease or if he or she lives with a family member who has a high risk of becoming seriously ill such as an elderly person, vaccination can prevent the onset and aggravation of symptoms.

On the other hand, there is still a risk of infection even if you are vaccinated, and in rare cases, there is a possibility of severe side effects after the vaccination.

Please consider the advantages and disadvantages before getting vaccinated.
