In Kashiwa City, the schedule has been moved ahead for 3rd vaccinations. Here, we will provide information regarding the vaccination schedule and vaccination appointments with free shuttle bus service.

This information is current as of February 3.

The vaccination interval has been changed to 6 months for everyone

An estimate of the vaccine supply for the city has been established until April, so the schedule for 3rd vaccinations has been moved ahead.

Regarding the vaccine supply

The city’s vaccine supply until April has been determined by the country. The supply for the 3rd vaccine will consist of 30 percent Pfizer vaccine (referred to as Pfizer below) and 70 percent Takeda/Moderna vaccine (referred to as Moderna below).

The schedule has been moved ahead for 3rd vaccinations

The estimated vaccine availability has been established for people eligible for vaccinations in Kashiwa City, and the vaccination schedule has been changed. Until now, the vaccination schedule was different depending on eligibility, but the 3rd dose of the vaccine will now be universally available to those for whom 6 months have passed since their 2nd vaccination. Please visit the city website or contact us for more information regarding the mailing schedule for vaccination tickets.

Please consider group vaccination if you would like your vaccination early

In this country, even if the type of vaccine used for the 3rd vaccination is different from the type used for the 1st and 2nd vaccinations, you can expect it to be effective, and the safety has also been confirmed. The city has a system in place to use both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, but the availability of the Pfizer vaccine is lower than Moderna. If you would like to get vaccinated early, please consider using a group vaccination with the Moderna vaccine.

Some medical facilities in the city also use the Moderna vaccine.
